- Easier ePaper badge setup: We have simplified the way you connect your visitor badges. You can now link an ePaper badge directly to its Visitor tablet during the pairing process. You can also edit this connection anytime right from the badge's detail page, saving you from extra setup steps.
- Updated device details layout: We improved the placement and design of the action buttons on the device details page, making it cleaner and easier to manage your visitor devices.
What's Fixed
- Accurate room availability on older apps: We resolved an issue in older versions of the mobile app where the floorplan view showed all rooms as available (green), ignoring the time slot you actually chose. It now correctly shows room status for your selected times.
- Smoother time picker scrolling: We fixed the scrolling behavior on the time selection screen. You can now easily scroll to choose your exact booking hours when creating or editing a meeting room reservation.
- Cleaner pre-registration flow: Visitors will no longer see the photo upload option during online pre-registration or touchless registration. This step is now kept exclusively for on-tablet check-ins.
- Visual fix for visitor badge hovers: We corrected a layout bug where hovering over visitor badges caused the tooltip to stretch full-width and spill off the screen.

- Default logo for badges: If you haven't set up a custom logo, your epaper badges will now display the Joan logo instead of leaving an empty space.
- Smoother typing and screen stability: We've improved how the keyboard behaves on iOS devices. The screen won't jump around when you type, and we've locked the screen orientation to keep your view steady.

What's New
- Asset API Documentation: We expanded our developer documentation to include Assets and Asset types, making it easier to connect your physical workplace resources with other systems.
What's Fixed
- Meeting Links for On-Spot Bookings: Fixed an issue where video meeting links (such as Google Meet or Microsoft Teams) were not generated when you booked directly on a Joan device. These links will now appear as expected in your calendars.
- Visitor Management PDF Formatting: Resolved an issue where bulleted and numbered lists in signed Visitor management documents lost their structure when downloaded as a PDF or sent via email.
- Office 365 Room Connection: Fixed a connection error that occasionally blocked Office 365 calendar rooms from being added successfully to Joan.
- Low Battery Notification Controls: Resolved an issue where battery status alerts were sent even when system notifications were turned off, and corrected a bug that sent duplicate emails if the admin and maintenance email addresses were identical.

Joan ePaper Badges
- Clearer image upload guidelines: We added handy tips right below the image upload area to help you get the best look for your ePaper badges. For the sharpest display, use an image with a 528 x 768 px resolution. The badges natively show black, white, yellow, and red. If you use other colors, we will blend them as closely as possible, but sticking to the native colors will give you the crispest result.

- Clearer battery alerts. Identifying which device needs a charge just got easier. Low battery alert emails now include the device name. This makes it simple to spot exactly which unit needs attention, especially for devices that manage multiple rooms.
What's Fixed
- Cross-location visitor check-out. We fixed an issue in Visitor management where guests couldn't check out if they were using a different kiosk from the one where they checked in. Your visitors can now check out from any kiosk at any of your locations.
- Better booking feedback. We've updated the error messages in Meeting room booking for overlapping reservations. If you try to book a space that's already taken, you'll see a clearer message so you can quickly find another time.
